IELTS Speaking Part 1 – Introduction – Window View

Window View

  1. What do you observe from the window of your room?
The window in my front-facing room provides a view of our house’s front porch. Adorned with small shrubs and a variety of colored roses, the sight brings joy to me, especially since roses are my favorite flowers.
  2. Do you enjoy observing the scenery through your window?
Absolutely, I delight in observing the scenery from my window, particularly during my morning tea ritual. Early in the morning, I witness the beauty of our garden and numerous birds, contributing to a sense of relaxation and happiness.
  3. Is living in a house with captivating window views something you desire?
Indeed, my ideal home is one that overlooks the ocean. I aspire to witness and hear the soothing ocean waves daily from my window. Hailing from Punjab, where the ocean is distant, I find contentment in our garden view. However, when vacationing with my family, we prefer hotel rooms with picturesque window views of lakes, oceans, or mountains.
  4. How do you react when your window doesn’t offer a scenic view?
I experience sadness when my window fails to provide a beautiful view. As a nature enthusiast, the sight of nothing but concrete buildings and roads depresses me.
