Follow ups questions for-describe a photo that you took

Describe a photo that you took and are proud of

1. Why do some people like to use photographs to document important things?
Photographs, in my opinion, effectively preserve past memories. When we view them, we inevitably recall the events and people from that time. Additionally, sharing our experiences with others is best achieved through photographs. As the saying goes, a picture speaks a thousand words.

2. What can one learn from photographs taken throughout history?
Photos can teach people about the successes and failures of our ancestors. On one hand, they provide living proof of human ingenuity and progress; on the other hand, they reveal our failures and the consequences of our actions. For instance, photos depicting lush forests in the past, now replaced by modern high-rise buildings, showcase our architectural achievements while also highlighting the environmental sacrifices made to attain them.

3. Are photographs the best way to remember something?
I used to believe that too. However, I recently read an article on how smells are much more effective in making us remember. In fact, that is why storytellers of the past use incense sticks and spice bowls when telling stories.

4. Which is better, taking photos or keeping a diary?
People hardly keep a diary these days, although both activities have their own importance. Taking photos is more convenient since it provides instant results and allows easy scrolling, whereas maintaining a diary demands much more effort.
