    I began learning numbers during my nursery classes, but the fundamentals of addition and subtraction were introduced to me in the 1st standard.

    I may not excel in math, but I don’t harbor any dislike for it. I believe math is highly useful in our day-to-day lives.

    I received instruction in math from various teachers during my school and college years.

    Ms. Roy, my math teacher in the 7th grade, is my favorite.
  5. Is math a challenging subject for you?
    I don’t consider myself adept at math, finding certain aspects challenging to comprehend. I often rely on the calculator app on my phone for calculations.
  6. Do you have a preference for using a calculator?
    Indeed, I prefer using the calculator app on my phone for calculations as it is convenient, accurate, and time-saving.
  7. Do students in secondary schools in India study math?
    Yes, math is a compulsory subject in secondary schools in India.
  8. Is math perceived as a difficult subject?
    Yes, I believe math is difficult due to its demand for analytical skills. As it progresses to higher grades, it becomes more intricate, and a strong foundation in basic concepts is crucial.
  9. How is math applied in daily life?
    Basic math finds application in various daily activities such as managing finances, driving, cooking, and shopping. From tracking distance during driving to calculating recipe ingredients and assessing discounts while shopping, math plays a role in many aspects of our lives.
  10. Are you currently learning math? If not, why?
    No, I am not currently learning math. I am employed, and my job does not require ongoing math learning.
