ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND / OR TESTS REQUIREMENTS
- PTE, TOEFL, or IELTS scores, or their equivalents, are needed as proof of English language competency.
- Waiver of IELTS and language tests for qualified students.
- Depending on your proficiency in English and previous test results, some institutions might admit you without these scores.
- For diploma programs: 6 Bands overall in the IELTS exam.
- For undergraduate programs: a total IELTS score of 6.0/5.5 in the IELTS exam.
- For master’s programs, a 6.5 overall IELTS score is preferred.
COST OF LIVING (FUNDS REQUIRED FOR TIER 4 VISA)

DEPENDENTS
As a dependent of a student enrolled in a 9-month or longer course at level 7 or above (a master’s degree), you are eligible if you are the student’s spouse or minor child under the age of 18.
RIGHT TO WORK
- During term, university students are permitted to work 20 hours per week; during vacation, they can work 40 hours per week.
- Spouses of students enrolled full-time in master’s programs are allowed to work.
- The Graduate Route / Post Study Work Visa allows foreign students to enroll starting in September 2020 and to stay and work in the UK for TWO years after they graduate with an undergraduate or master’s degree in the summer of 2021 or later.
- PHd candidates could obtain a 3-year permit.
