IELTS Speaking Part 1 – Introduction – Puzzles

Puzzles

  1. Did you engage in puzzles during your childhood?
Yes, I actively participated in puzzles during my childhood, particularly enjoying solving numerous jigsaw puzzles.
  2. When do you partake in puzzles, during trips or when boredom strikes?
Presently, I engage in puzzles while traveling or when my younger cousins visit. It proves to be a delightful activity to share with them.
  3. Which do you prefer, word puzzles or number puzzles? And which poses a greater challenge?
I enjoy both word puzzles, such as Crossword puzzles and games like Wordle, as well as number puzzles like Sudoku. However, due to my weaker proficiency in English compared to Mathematics, word puzzles are more challenging for me. Additionally, cultural nuances in word puzzles can make them more difficult to solve.
  4. Do you believe it is beneficial for older individuals to solve puzzles?
Absolutely, I consider puzzles as one of the most effective ways to keep the mind sharp and active. Therefore, I believe it’s a wonderful idea for older individuals to engage in puzzle-solving activities.
