IELTS Speaking Part 1 – Introduction – Wallet

Wallet

  1. Do you regularly use a wallet?
Indeed, I use a wallet every day to carry my credit cards, cash, and important receipts or documents. It is unsafe to carry loose cash and cards directly in pockets or bags. Additionally, a wallet provides protection for our valuables in case of rain.
  2. Have you ever experienced misplacing a wallet?
Yes, there was a time when I lost my wallet on the bus. While on my way to college, I paid for my bus ticket, and upon disembarking, I realized my wallet was missing. Despite attempting to chase after the bus, I was unable to catch up.
  3. Have you ever presented a wallet as a gift?
Certainly, I gifted my father a wallet on his 40th birthday. He had been using the same wallet for years; it was very old, and the stitching was coming apart. Knowing he wouldn’t replace it unless absolutely necessary, I gave him a new one as a gift. He was very pleased when he saw my gift and still uses that wallet.
  4. Do the majority of your friends use wallets?
Yes, most of my friends use wallets.
