IELTS Speaking Part 1 – Introduction – Furniture

Furniture

  1. Do you have a lot of furniture in your home?

No, my house doesn’t boast an abundance of furniture. My parents prefer uncluttered spaces, so we only possess essential furniture pieces in most rooms. However, we do maintain some storage cabinets to uphold neatness and organization.

  1. Is there anyone who bought furniture for you?

Yes, all the furniture in my home was purchased by my parents. They opted to procure our furniture locally from small shops rather than prominent stores and brands. Each piece possesses a unique quality, with many crafted by local artisans.

  1. What kind of furniture would you like to buy?

Personally, I favor modern, contemporary furniture characterized by clean lines, and I aspire to acquire such pieces when furnishing my home.

  1. Which furniture do you like best in your home?

My favorite pieces in my home are my bookcase and the chair adjacent to it. I harbor a deep affection for books, and my parents acquired a bookcase for my room. I derive immense joy from reading in my cozy chair, surrounded by my cherished books showcased in the bookcase.
