IELTS Speaking Part 1 – Introduction – Taking Rest

Taking Rest

  1. How frequently do you rest?
I prefer taking a break every 2-3 hours. Despite a busy schedule of classes throughout the day, I seize any available time between classes to relax. I find that my brain becomes fatigued, and after a rest, I experience a sense of relaxation and rejuvenation.
  2. What activities do you typically engage in during your rest periods?
While resting, I commonly indulge in listening to music. My college features a beautiful garden adorned with a central fountain and flowers all around. Whenever I have a break between classes, I enjoy sitting on a bench in the garden, listening to music.
  3. Do you incorporate napping into your rest routine?
On weekdays, due to my college commitments, I don’t nap; however, during weekends at home, I like to take a brief afternoon nap. A 15-20 minute nap proves sufficient to revitalize me, ensuring I stay energetic throughout the day.
  4. How do you feel post-nap?
Following a nap, I experience a sense of refreshment, heightened energy, and readiness to face challenges. I find myself more relaxed, less stressed, and my overall day tends to unfold more smoothly when I incorporate short afternoon naps into my routine.
