a. What is your favorite festival?
My favorite festival is Diwali, also known as the festival of lights, celebrated during winters.

b. How do you observe this festival?
I engage in various activities on Diwali. I purchase new clothes, clean and decorate my house with vibrant festive lights. I share sweets with friends, exchange gifts, and in the evening, I light candles at the temple and burst firecrackers.

c. Which is the most widely celebrated Indian festival?
Diwali holds the distinction of being the most widely celebrated festival in our country, as people from all walks of life commemorate it with great enthusiasm.

d. Do you have a liking for Western festivals?
Yes, I enjoy celebrating Christmas. It is a beautiful festival, and I like to wear red clothes on Christmas day. I also attend church and savor Christmas cake with my friends.

e. How are festivals celebrated in your country?
India, being a highly diverse country, celebrates numerous festivals in different regions for various reasons. Most festivals involve rituals such as prayers, cooking special foods, house decorations, family and friends’ gatherings, wearing new clothes, and festivities like music and dance.
