For local travel, I usually opt for buses, but for longer distances, I rely on railways or air travel. - When do you use public transportation, as part of your daily routine or specifically when traveling?
During my academic years, I used to take the bus daily for my studies. However, currently, I only utilize public transportation for special visits. For instance, I visit the Golden Temple in Amritsar every one or two months, and for this, I prefer bus travel. - Is public transportation widely preferred in your country?
I believe public transportation is the primary mode of travel for most individuals in India. However, with increasing wealth, many people have shifted to using private cars. - Did you utilize public transportation in your childhood?
Certainly, as mentioned earlier, during my childhood, I used to commute daily by bus for my studies. - Do you anticipate an increase in public transportation users in the future?
Contrary to that expectation, I believe the usage of public transportation will continue to decline. As people become more affluent, their focus on comfort outweighs cost concerns. However, if the government takes initiatives in this regard, there could be a shift in this trend.
