Speaking Part 1- Introduction – Maps

Maps

  1. Do you often use maps?
    • Yes, I frequently rely on maps, particularly when navigating unfamiliar cities outside my hometown. I utilize applications like Google Maps and Waze, as I struggle with directions and tend to get lost without the aid of a map.
  2. Do you use paper maps?
    • I opt for GPS apps and do not utilize paper maps. The exception was during a recent visit to Jim Corbett National Park, where poor phone signal prompted us to use a paper map provided at the park’s entrance.
  3. How often do you use maps on your phone?
    • I employ phone maps whenever I need directions to a new destination or revisiting places where I am not familiar with all the routes. In my hometown, with its small size and my familiarity with most streets, I seldom rely on phone maps.
  4. Do you have maps at home?
    • No, I do not keep maps at home. While there is an old Atlas on our bookshelf, I rarely use it.
