The graph shows how much money four European countries—Britain, France, Italy, and Germany—have spent on toys, CDs, tennis racquets, photographic film, personal stereos, and perfumes. Sterling is the unit of measurement.
In comparison to Germany, which spent the least on these items, the British, out of the four nations, spent the most on all six consumer goods.
French tennis racquet buyers spent the least money, while British photographers spent the most on photographic films. Britain spent far more than 170,000 pounds on photographic film. The total amount of money spent on consumer goods to date is this. With roughly 165,000 spent, France ranked second in terms of spending. Germans and Italians spent approximately 145,000 and 150,000, respectively, in comparison to the two latter nations. The second and third most common purchases made by the four nations are toys and CDs.
In addition, the least amount of tennis racquets were bought by Britain and France, at about 155,000 and 145,000, respectively. With precisely 150000 pounds, Italy spent the least amount of money on personal stereo purchases. Germany spent roughly 3000 pounds less than Italy did.
